Asian Marinated Salmon Tutorial
I was wanting a light dinner tonight, so fish seemed appropriate. This Asian style marinade was perfect with salmon. I served it on a bed of homemade Chow Mein which was not good enough to post a recipe for...I'll work on it and get back to you on that.
Asian Marinated Salmon
Ingredients
1.5-3lb salmon filet
2 Tbs Dijon mustard
3 Tbs soy sauce
1 tsp sesame seed oil
5 Tbs olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 scallions, chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
Step 1
In a bowl, whisk together the mustard, soy sauce, sesame seed oil, olive oil, garlic, scallions, and lemon juice.
Step 2
Pour over salmon filet. Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes up to several hours.
Step 3
Cut the salmon filet into portions.
Step 4
You can bake, grill, or pan cook at this point. I chose to cook it in a skillet. Heat a little oil and cook 5-6 minutes on each side.
