Sweetened Condensed Milk into Caramel Sauce Tutorial
I had seen this idea on Pinterest and I decided to try it out myself! It produces a thick, rich, caramel sauce- or "dulce de leche" and it's fantastic!
Dulce de Leche (Caramel Sauce)
Start with an unopened can of Sweetened Condensed Milk. Peel the label off.
Submerge it in water in your CrockPot.
Let to low and cook for 8 hours. Move hot, unopened can to fridge and let cool.
Open can. Boom. Caramel Sauce. I'll be making some homemade ice-cream and swirl some of this through it. Yum!

Make sure can stays covered with water or it can explode. Happened on a camping trip and there was caramel everywhere.
And that sounds like the best camping trip ever.
